I am a camera

Went to see “I am a camera” last night at the Southwark Playhouse. It’s the play based on Christopher Isherwood’s “Goodbye to Berlin” and the inspiration for “Cabaret”. The theatre is in a railway arch near London Bridge and the trains passing overhead made it feel like we were in Nollendorfplatz. It’s a good job they left the songs out or it would have been very long…..
